Ron’s Biography
Since my early retirement from TI, I have decided to open my own Bass Guide service. I began bass fishing Lake Ray Hubbard back in 1987. I fished it from the bank back then since I didn’t have a boat. I also fished Lake Lavon from the bank. I started fishing from the age of 6 with my dad. We did a lot of our fishing from the banks of rivers and ponds in California. We fished for anything that swam. As my dad was in the U.S. Air Force we moved around a lot and we got to fish many different lakes, rivers and ponds. He ended up retiring from the Air Force and I lived out my teenage years in Alamogordo,New Mexico.You guessed it we did a lot of rainbow trout fishing. After graduating high school I went on to technical college in Phoenix, Az. I joined TI in 1979 at the Austin, TX manufacturing plant as a Test Technician. My career brought me here to North Texas where I now reside in Garland. I joined the TI Bass Club and bought my first bass boat in 1989.
